Summary of Position
Zero Motorcycles Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Senior Logistics Analyst to join our supply chain team in Scott’s Valley, CA. The successful candidate will coordinate and manage 3PL execution of outbound and inbound shipments to and from our factories and distribution centers globally. In addition, he/she will own data analytics, track, and manage 3PL and internal KPI’s, and report on weekly / monthly metrics. The successful candidate is self-driven and motivated to solve problems and drive solutions in a fast-paced environment. This position is a full-time onsite role in Scott’s Valley, CA reporting to the Logistics Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and execute shipments with our freight forwarders daily.
- Ensure visibility and traceability of all in-transit material and finished goods.
- Perform SAP goods movements and ensure systematic motorcycle inventory accuracy.
- Create data-driven reports and support/lead the development of relevant dashboards.
- Facilitate weekly 3PL and freight forwarder reviews and perform site visits as required.
- Drive process improvements to support cost reduction and customer satisfaction.
- Influence performance by providing guidance and support to factory and 3PL shipping teams.
- Analyze large data sets to identify areas of opportunity for company improvement.
- Work alongside Logistics Compliance and Customs Brokers to ensure regulatory conformance.
- Identify and mitigate risks that may impact global logistics operations. Develop contingencies.
- Provide a strong customer service focus through on-time delivery and timely communication.
- Identify strategic logistics alternatives and help to drive the company forward.
Job requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Economics, Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a logistics analyst, specialist, or logistics engineering role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
- Strong communications skills (verbal and written) and ability to lead meetings independently.
- Enthusiastic, well-organized, and driven with the ability to adapt to ambiguity.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
The salary range for this position is between $90K - $120K
