Position Summary:

The Revenue Accountant is responsible for managing and recording revenue activities and accounts receivable transactions across all U.S. sales channels. This role ensures accurate processing of customer and intercompany billings, maintains financial master data in SAP, and supports month-end close through reconciliations and accruals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, skilled in SAP, and experienced with both external and intercompany revenue processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable & Payment Processing

  • Collect on accounts receivable for all U.S. sales channels.

  • Processing payments (ATM, Lockbox, Wires, Stripe)

  • Initiate check requests to refund AR credit balances to customers.

  • Remove accounting blocks on credit memo requests as needed.

  • Reclass AR credit balances to AP accounts where appropriate.

Billing & Credit Memo Processing

  • Process customer invoices for Bikes, Parts, and Powertrain sales.

  • Issue credit memos for warranty claims, sales incentives, and product returns.

Customer & System Maintenance

  • Add customer bank details and maintain finance-related Business Partner (BP) information in SAP (emails, bank accounts, payment methods, etc.).

  • Add or remove credit holds on customer accounts based on risk and payment behavior.

Intercompany Transactions

  • Perform intercompany AR/AP clearing upon payment receipt.

  • Generate intercompany freight AR invoices and process FX adjustments.

  • Record intercompany 2% entries and perform intercompany invoicing across entities.

  • Create intercompany AP/BV AR accruals as part of period-end close activities.

Reporting & Reconciliations

  • Reconcile customer deposit reservations.

  • Calculate demo bike reserve based on Salesforce inventory reports.

  • Assist in quarterly bad debt reserve calculation, primarily for Parts accounts.

Others

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of accounting or revenue recognition experience, ideally in a high-volume or intercompany environment.

  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel (required).

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with intercompany accounting and AR/AP reconciliation.

  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP revenue recognition standards.

  • Familiarity with consumer goods or manufacturing industry accounting.
