Job description

We have a new opening in our Dutch offices in the North of Holland for a Manager of Fleet Tender and Market progression EMEA APAC. In this position you act as a key part of the Sales development in all the countries where we operate, supporting and guiding the Country Managers in implementing best practices for their Fleet deals and preparing market sales projections based on data analysis and information collected from authorities/governmental sources.


The Manager of Fleet Tender and Market progression EMEA APAC is part of the Sales team. The Sales department reports to our MD/VP Sales EMEA APAC and is responsible for the Sales & Market development of Zero Motorcycles and the success of our dealer network. The team is currently composed of all our Sales & Marketing Country Managers based in the regions we operate and the Director of Business Development APAC. In this role you are the first-tier contact with various department directors and government entities.


You are working in different areas of activities:

  • Guarantee that orders from our network are processed in a timely manner starting from the bid-tender stage, while creating best practices and efficiency for the organization.
  • Ensure P&A and specific kits are available for each fleet deal but also for events and presentations.
  • Manage the status and portfolio of tender projects and inventories / stock.
  • Legal compliancy and advisory on Fleet deals to our Country Managers and Directors.
  • Engage with Marketing to ensure company communications, materials, digital visuals and information are up to date.
  • Reporting about trends, news, opportunities and results on a biweekly basis.

What to expect in a normal workday: drive customer satisfaction at reduced lead times, work closely with sales, logistics, P&A, finance and factory service center, answer to emails and calls from our fleet customers and other third parties. Along with the team and your line manager, you drive improvements to elevate our brand and contribute to the sales strategy generating proposals and business cases based on current and projected data in all our markets.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and embody the EMEA APAC Fleet strategy by studying the market trends and needs of Authorities, in all territories EMEA APAC for two-wheel vehicles.
  • Facilitate and support during the bid and tender process for Fleet sales.
  • Prepare and propose processes that will improve the overall Fleet sales journey.
  • Owner of processes and responsible for (co-)devising and steering targets: templates, documentation, email, time-line, reporting. But also win-win opportunities in which models, which countries, which amount of sales targets, accessories...
  • Stakeholder management: Support and manage all stakeholders.
  • Communication: communicate according to stakeholder management/strategy.
  • Contribute to EMEA APAC Sales goals and strategies.

Required education & experience

  • Secondary international education and a minimum of 5 years of working experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management and high level of proactivity.
  • Analytical and cost-conscious mindset.
  • Ability and experience collecting data from network within the work field.
  • Expertise using past and current data, to support the business with prospections and create business cases.

Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS-Office – Excel)
  • Strong communication skills. Professional English language skills, plus at least another European language at professional level.
  • Organized, attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient administrative skills and multitasker.
  • Both strong team-player as independent worker.
  • Strong analytical skills and an objective mindset.
  • Knowledge of relevant ERP applications such as SAP and Salesforce.
