Summary of Position:
The Manager Global Parts & Accessories (P&A) is the first point of contact for all Parts & Accessories–related matters worldwide. This role leads the global P&A strategy and oversees operations across existing and expanding territories. You will own and shape the future development of P&A as a business unit with significant growth potential, both now and in the years ahead.
You are a business-oriented, self-driven, and creative leader with a strong commercial mindset, capable of defining and executing a successful global strategy. You hold full responsibility for budgets, revenues, margins, and long-term profitability of the P&A business.
In this role, you lead all key growth initiatives, launch new projects, and elevate the P&A business to the next level. You manage the global P&A team across multiple regions and time zones, providing structured yet flexible leadership to ensure efficiency, alignment, and collaboration. You work closely with Dealer and Distributor networks, as well as EMEA colleagues, and report directly to the Director of Global After Sales.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy, Leadership & Operations
· Define and execute the global P&A strategy to drive sustainable growth.
· Lead and develop the global P&A organization, ensuring high performance and accountability.
· Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality execution.
· Initiate and manage strategic projects to support business expansion and innovation.
· Provide regular reporting to leadership, including sales analysis, forecasting, and performance tracking.
Portfolio, Planning & Financial Management
· Own the global parts and accessories portfolio, including development, availability, and lifecycle management.
· Lead demand planning, inventory control, and financial management activities.
· Monitor and report on POR vs Actual vs Forecast, ensuring accurate tracking of financial plans.
· Expand the product portfolio while maintaining alignment with premium brand positioning.
· Build and maintain long-term partnerships with suppliers and providers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage key suppliers; negotiate favourable long-term terms; monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
· Cross-functional Alignment: Collaborate with pricing, operations, marketing, logistics, sales, and finance to align category strategies and ensure execution.
· Promotions & Marketing: Partner with marketing teams on promotional campaigns, product launches, advertising initiatives, and product portals.
· Product Management: Analyze customer demand, sales data, and OEM market trends to optimize assortment planning. Continuously refine the assortment to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Provide a Pricebook review and report based on competitive pricing and trendlines to propose required price adjustments
· Customer Experience: Own item data quality; improve product content and customer-facing product cards by working closely with manufacturers to ensure A+ content. Ensure Service Levels meet Industrial standards and have parts and accessories available inline with strong seasonality.
· Quality: Monitor product failures trendlines and adopt demand planning where needed to guarantee our service level meets customer expectations.
Job requirements
· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration or a related field.
· Minimum 5+ years of experience in the automotive or automotive aftermarket industry in a commercial role.
· Strong understanding of and passion for the automotive industry; experience with electric vehicles and motorcycles is preferred.
· Proven experience in business management, category management, buying, or selling.
· Strong numerical and analytical skills, data driven.
· Advanced proficiency in Excel and SAP.
Skills & Competencies
· Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (including reporting, macros, and analytics).
· Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of SAP and Salesforce is preferred.
· Strong commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
· Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus. Dutch is preferred.
· Proven problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
· Strong people and team management skills.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on, “not 9-to-5” mentality.
· Proven negotiation and influencing skills.
· High level of ownership, accountability, resilience, and stress tolerance.
· Ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and simple way.
