Homologation Manager

Zero is seeking a full-time Homologation Engineer -OR- Homologation Manager to drive our Scotts Valley homologation efforts.

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Engineering

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in motorcycle homologation engineering

• Deep knowledge of the motorcycling market, including the product development process, legislation and standards

• Excellent familiarity with worldwide motorcycle regulations including ECE, EC, FMVSS, CMVSS, ISO, SAE, JASO, etc.

• Familiarity with component standards including, UN, UL, ECE, etc.

• Prior experience leading or managing a small team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language, other European language capabilities a plus

• Strong ability to be an effective team member, working with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output

• Important traits are being assertive, optimistic, resilient, and willing to embrace change

• Ability to engage interest and participation of others, to foster a strongly collaborative approach

• Possess a creative mind and strong analytical skills

• US Work Authorization: Selected candidate must be authorized to work for any US company, without current or future need for sponsorship for US work authorization.

• Relocation benefits are available for this role, for domestic relocation.

• Travel frequency will be 10-25%

The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $100,000 to $200,000. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, discretionary target cash bonus, Zero offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.
