What to Expect

As a Senior Global P&A Demand Planner, you will lead the forecasting and demand planning process for Parts & Accessories, ensuring accurate inventory alignment with market needs and sales objectives. You will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, technical, FSC, supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to optimize stock levels, minimize shortages, and drive operational efficiency. 

 

You make sure our internal products and external providers’ parts, get to the “premium motorcycles” our customers are ordering from Europe, USA, Middle East, Africa, and the Asia Pacific region. 

 

You have good eye for detail and always have a plan B ready. You are leading in Demand Planning; developing effective forecasts in SAP and improving processes to achieve accuracy and quality of data – Creating best practices to facilitate business performance at a level of excellence. You have a close contact with all related departments to proactively collect information, in order to anticipate on issues in the field. 

You ensure that the P&A team is fully up to date with the latest information which they need to communicate to the dealer network. You will be facilitating the team with information about lead times, ETA’s or alternative solutions. This role can be described as a spider in the web, and requires “out of the box thinking”.  

 

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management: 

  • Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels (> 95% availability) of parts and accessories. 

  • Track inventory levels, orders, sales, and deliveries using inventory management software. 

  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between physical stock and system records.  

  • Provide support in the area of supplier performance and delivery reliability. 

  • Make suggestions to minimize costs to all related departments. 

 

Providing information to P&A sales reps 

  • Deliver clear, accurate, and timely information on delivery schedules, ETAs, and alternative solutions to P&A colleagues. 

  • Ensure delivery times are met and work closely with Logistics to have inbounds arranged in time. 

  • Collaborate with team members to proactively identify and resolve potential issues. 

  • Support new product introductions by developing demand estimates and ensuring readiness of supply. 

  

Data Entry & Reporting: 

  • Generate and distribute inventory-related reports (e.g., stock levels, usage trends, slow-moving inventory). 

  • Provide analysis on inventory turnover, forecasted needs, and excess stock. 

 

Material resource planning 

  • Monitor and Following up on open incoming goods, in close cooperation with Logistics. 

  • Scheduling production orders (kits) at our external 3PL or our local warehouse. 

 

Demand planning optimalisation 

  • Moving from an -mainly Excel driven- forecast to SAP IBP (Zero MC MDP) 

 

Reporting 

  • Setting up KPI’s and maintaining them 

  • Weekly 

  • Monthly 

Job requirements

Skills and Attributes

  • You have at least an HBO degree in related area and- \\\\\\\\or you can demonstrate at least >10 years of working experience in similar positions. (International) experience in (bilingual) Automotive, OEM or equivalent companies is a plus.  

  • Taking lead in optimalisation projects 

  • You are fluent in English (Dutch is a plus and other European language(s) are very valuable. 

  • Enjoy working with people and have good analytical skills, and an objective mindset. 

  • Both strong team-player as independent worker.
