Zero Motorcycles is looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive FP&A Analyst to join our growing global finance team at our new headquarters in Amsterdam. This role combines financial analysis, reporting, and hands‑on operational support to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful financial information across our global operations. This is a highly visible role, working closely with finance leadership and business partners across regions to support decision‑making as we scale. 

What to Expect

Zero Motorcycles is looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive FP&A Analyst to join our growing global finance team at our new headquarters in Amsterdam. This role combines financial analysis, reporting, and hands‑on operational support to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful financial information across our global operations. This is a highly visible role, working closely with finance leadership and business partners across regions to support decision‑making as we scale. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, including variance analysis and management reporting. 

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning cycles, gathering inputs, validating assumptions, and preparing consolidated deliverables. 

  • Build, maintain, and optimize financial models to support business cases, operational planning, and strategic decision‑making. 

  • Manage and maintain FP&A reporting system (Workday Adaptive), including data inputs, model updates, and recurring reporting packages. 

  • Partner with product, operations, and budget owners to review performance against targets and improve financial visibility across the organization. 

  • Prepare data, analysis, and commentary for senior leadership and Board of Directors materials. 

  • Review and approve purchase requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring alignment with budgets and internal policies. 

  • Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting, planning tools, processes, and cross‑functional collaboration. 

Job requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or analytical finance roles. 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 

  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills. 

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and comfort supporting close activities. 

  • Experience working with FP&A tools and reporting systems. 

  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar is a plus). 

  • Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non‑finance stakeholders. 

  • Comfortable working across multiple time zones and in an international environment. 

  • Highly detail‑oriented, structured, and able to balance operational execution with strategic analysis. 

  • Proactive communicator with strong stakeholder management and a continuous improvement mindset.
