Job description
Zero Motorcycles is the leading electric motorcycle and powertrain brand. We combine the ingenuity of a Silicon Valley start-up with the grit and craftsmanship involved in motorcycle manufacturing to develop the world’s best electric motorcycles. We are searching for an experienced battery systems expert to join our Engineering team. The individual we are looking for must have a deep understanding of current and emerging battery technology with an emphasis on the electric vehicle market. They should understand design parameters of lithium-ion batteries as well as what is most important for a given application and use profile. This person also needs to understand the design criteria that need careful consideration for the integration of battery technologies into battery modules, systems, and equipment that is exposed to the elements. They will also guide the effort to integrate these solutions into our battery systems, test that they meet specified design criteria, and move them through the design methodology to production.
This position is full-time at our Scotts Valley, California headquarters and will report to the HV Battery Systems Manager.
