Our business is expanding in many directions and territories. For the Benelux and Scandinavia we are looking for a driven and sales oriented professional who is passionate about motorcycles and electric vehicles. The professional that will take the role will hold the job title: Country Sales & Marketing Manager Benelux & Scandinavia. In this position she/he will be in the lead of engaging effectively with our dealer network in the mentioned territories and help them through a successful sales growth. You will also support them with Marketing activities, be present at sector events and build up development strategies to increase the dealer network in the territories.


Summary of Position:

The Benelux and Scandinavian regions are crucial territories where Zero Motorcycles is pushing for growth and success in all activities: In this role, your targets will consist in: increase and improve sales and dealer relationships, create and manage excellent marketing activities, improve operations and stakeholder management. The Country Sales & Marketing Manager Benelux and Scandinavia, is eager to take ownership of all scope areas of the role in the assigned territories. The scope of marketing included in this role might vary in the future depending on the company vision and strategy.

In this role you will interact and support our partners in the region by facilitating the task of our dealers to perform their service while coaching them in their Sales activities. In this role you will provide first-tier excellent service to our dealers, work closely together with our PR-agencies, ensure that Sales and Marketing activities in the region organized and repeatedly performed in the most efficient and successful way possible.

You will be working from your home office for approximately 20% of your time. At least 75% of your time you will be on the road, attending Sales/Marketing events, meeting your dealers and building on your network, and for 5% of your time we expect you to join weekly meetings and bilas with your direct manager (this percentages are an estimation and subject to adjustment). There are lots of activities during weekends where you will be expected to participate, some are standard and seasonally planned, and some will be scheduled adhoc.

In your position you are responsible for the achievements and planned sales & marketing targets and activities. You will report to VP&MD EMEA.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities

Sales Scope:

  • Represent Zero Motorcycles in business activities in his Region;
  • Manage complete sales planning, ordering & delivery process for the dealers in your region and all marketing activities.
  • Build, extend and maintain the dealer network to the level as agreed and based on business targets.
  • Report on a regular basis on business progress to the VP&MD EMEA.
  • Support your dealers in all activities in an engaging manner, ensuring clarity on processes, ways of working, campaigns, and investing in long term business relationships.
  • Join all sales meetings.
  • Participate and drive ongoing product trainings, news, changes, procedure improvements.
  • Provide weekly and monthly forecasts on wholesales and retail sales.
  • Bring up ideas, plans, promotions to stimulate wholesales and limit dealer stock.
  • Work closely together with our Field Service Engineers and other departments.

Marketing Scope:

You will implement marketing campaigns in accordance with central EMEA marketing plans with special focus on the assigned market. In this role, responsibilities will include evaluating Dealer needs, campaign implementation, controlling brand presence and working with the marketing team to ensure that the marketing activities are accurate and supportive to reach sales objectives.

• Coordination of local marketing activities and monitoring of their execution.

• Weekly marketing report collection.

• Liaise with local PR agency (where applicable).

• Partner with third party agencies to execute events or other locally identified activities.

• Maintain a premium presentation of the brand: logos use, signage, and other POS materials.

• Monitor Zero’s presence on Social Media and propose posts of regional interest together with our Social Media coordinator.

• Occasional check of translations received from agencies.

• Participate at events / shows

• Initiate content creation to support sales promotions

• Deliver Social Media content to the dealers

• Manage and plan the marketing budget 



Skills and Attributes

  • Fluently (C2 level) in Dutch, English and at advanced French
  • Excellent in sales and marketing skills
  • Highly pro-active
  • Service minded, open, social, strong communicator
  • Able to device, maintain and execute (sales & marketing) strategies for the Benelux and Scandinavian Market
  • Multi-tasking ability, scheduling, time and project management skills

  • Must be physically able to travel for at least 75% of your worktime and approximately 20 weekends x year
  • Driver licenses for motorcycles and cars
  • Passion for motorcycling and electric products
